PLEASANT HILL — BART service stopped Wednesday morning between the Nice Hill and Walnut Creek stations for about an hour after an individual wound up within the trackway, officers stated.
Company spokesperson Jim Allison stated no person died throughout the incident. He didn’t have any situation instantly on the individual within the trackway.
Allison stated the interruption in service occurred round 8:20 a.m.
Trains in each instructions had been affected.
Allison stated the scenario was “resolved” by 9:10 a.m., and BART service resumed at the moment.
County buses supplied transportation for purchasers touring between the 2 stations whereas the monitor was closed.
