STOCKTON – The California Freeway Patrol Golden Gate Division on Monday introduced the restoration of $229,000 in stolen paint.
On July 31, members of the CHP’s Cargo Theft Interdiction Program discovered 48 pallets of Sherwin-Williams paint at a warehouse in Stockton, the CHP mentioned in a social media submit.
The paint was initially stolen in Nevada and traced to Stockton, in keeping with the CHP.
“The profitable restoration of this stolen cargo was due largely to the superb communication between CHP, allied businesses, and the personal trade,” the CHP mentioned.
The CHP didn’t announce any arrests, however mentioned the investigation stays ongoing.
Test again for updates.
