
OAKLAND — The Alameda County Coroner’s Workplace has confirmed the identification of a 38-year-old man who was not too long ago shot and killed at an encampment the place he lived.
Baltazar Alcaraz was fatally shot round 2:45 a.m. on Aug. 24 at an encampment off Interstate 580 close to the 3400 block of Telegraph Avenue. It’s being investigated by the California Freeway Patrol, not Oakland police, as a result of it’s on state property.
Alcaraz was shot and killed outdoors a cropping of tents on the encampment. Police have interviewed a number of different residents however have but to establish a suspect, authorities say. The suspected motive has not been launched both.
