
One man was killed when a mover’s truck hit three vehicles on a Sonoma County freeway, the California Freeway Patrol stated.
The crash was reported at 7 p.m. Tuesday on Freeway 116 (Stage Gulch Highway) about 4 miles east of the Lakeville junction.
An eastbound field truck pushed by a 39-year-old Crockett man reportedly crossed the double yellow traces on the two-lane freeway. It hit three westbound vehicles, the CHP stated: a Lexus pushed by a 67-year-old Sebastopol lady, a Chevrolet Camaro pushed by a 63-year-old Sebastopol man, and a Jeep SUV pushed by a 43-year-old Rio Vista lady.
The Camaro’s driver died on the scene. He was recognized as Anthony Scott.
The three different drivers suffered minor to reasonable accidents, the CHP stated.
The street was closed till about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The CHP didn’t launch any details about the reason for the crash.
