Flag soccer is formally considered one of 5 new sports activities added to the Olympic program for the 2028 Summer time Video games in Los Angeles.

On Monday in Mumbai on the 141st Worldwide Olympic Committee (IOC) session, it was introduced that flag soccer, baseball/softball, cricket, lacrosse and squash can be included on the Video games.
