Professional Soccer Corridor of Famer Terrell Owens escaped damage after being hit by a automobile following an argument in Calabasas, California, on Monday, in accordance with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division.
After deputies have been known as to the scene, Owens instructed them he was concerned in a verbal argument with the suspect following a leisure basketball recreation, the division stated in an announcement. The unnamed suspect then received in a white BMW and started to drive away.
“Because the suspect left the situation, he struck Mr. Owens on the left knee with the automobile. He then drove away and out of view. Mr. Owens was not injured and declined medical therapy,” the sheriff’s division stated.
“Hope the automobile is okay!!!” the soccer legend quipped in an Instagram Reel with footage from the basketball recreation.
Representatives for Owens haven’t responded to CNN’s request for remark.
Owens, who performed large receiver within the NFL for 15 seasons and was chosen to 6 Professional Bowls, completed his profession with 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns. He performed for the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Payments and Cincinnati Bengals.
Owens was inducted into the Professional Soccer Corridor of Fame in 2018. He notably skipped the induction ceremony held in Canton, Ohio, and as an alternative held his personal ceremony in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
