
BERKELEY — An individual died Tuesday night time after they have been struck by a practice on the North Berkeley BART station, authorities mentioned.
Authorities didn’t launch any details about the individual killed, together with their gender or age.
The collision occurred about 11:06 p.m. Tuesday.
BART officers mentioned in an announcement that the individual “entered the trackway at (the station) as a practice was approaching” and “a deadly collision occurred.”
Officers haven’t mentioned why they assume the individual entered the trackway however did say a assessment of video surveillance on the station revealed there was no foul play concerned.
The station was closed and the practice evacuated whereas authorities investigated.
