RICHMOND — A person working throughout Interstate 580 Wednesday night time after his car was concerned in one other crash died after he was hit by three different autos, the California Freeway Patrol mentioned Thursday.
The person has not but been recognized.
The fatality occurred about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday within the westbound lanes of the freeway close to Central Avenue.
The CHP mentioned the person was concerned in a five-vehicle crash that occurred within the eastbound lanes. One individual was injured in that incident.
The unidentified man acquired out of his car and bumped into the westbound lanes, the place he was first hit by one car after which two others, CHP Officer Adib Zeid mentioned.
He died on the freeway.
Zeid mentioned the drivers who hit the person and people concerned within the crash within the eastbound lanes all remained on the scene.
