OAKLAND — A 42-year-old man who instructed police he was shot in East Oakland Thursday night time after refusing to present his pockets to a robber was in steady situation Friday, authorities stated.
The taking pictures occurred about 10:13 p.m. Thursday within the 1700 block of 14th Avenue.
The sufferer instructed police he was strolling from his residence to a meals truck when a crimson SUV stopped and a masked man with a gun received out, confronted him and demanded his pockets.
The sufferer instructed police when he refused to show over his pockets he was shot within the ankle.
The suspect fled within the SUV with out the pockets earlier than police received to the scene. The wounded man was taken to a hospital.
