
LIVERMORE — A motorcyclist died Tuesday afternoon in a collision with an SUV, police stated.
The motorcyclist’s identify was not launched as of Tuesday, pending affirmation of his id and notification of his subsequent of kin. Police stated he was a Livermore man in his 30s.
The collision occurred about 4:50 p.m. Monday on the intersection of North Mines Street and Shirley Method.
Police stated in a information launch that the motorcyclist was going northbound on North Mines Street and a Honda CR-V was heading south.
Police stated the Honda was making a left flip onto Shirley Method. Apparently the motive force didn’t see the motorbike and didn’t yield earlier than hitting it.
The motorbike rider died on the scene.
The driving force of the SUV, a Livermore resident in her early 60s, was not harm, police stated. She stayed on the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
Police don’t consider medicine or alcohol performed a task within the collision.
