
A person suspected of drunken driving was arrested early Sunday after his pickup was concerned in a deadly collision in East San Jose, police mentioned.
The wreck was reported shortly after 1 a.m. close to the intersection of North Jackson Avenue and Alexian Drive, which is near Regional Medical Heart of San Jose.
The driving force of a 2003 Dodge truck touring north on Jackson Avenue tried to make a left flip into an house advanced and collided with a southbound 2013 Kawasaki motorbike, police mentioned.
The person using the motorbike was taken to a hospital, the place he died. His title has not been launched.
The driving force of the Dodge truck remained on the scene and was arrested after a DUI investigation. The driving force was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for driving drunk.
The loss of life is San Jose’s forty first deadly collision of 2023.
