
MARTINEZ — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning when he crashed on Freeway 4 after the California Freeway Patrol mentioned he encountered some particles within the roadway.
He was recognized Monday by the coroner’s workplace as Brian Apodaca, 57, of Hercules.
The crash occurred about 2:03 a.m. Sunday within the westbound lanes of the freeway close to Pine Avenue.
The California Freeway Patrol mentioned its preliminary investigation indicated Apodaca encountered some particles within the roadway. The CHP has not mentioned what the particles was.
It has nonetheless not been decided if Apodaca struck the particles or if he misplaced management attempting to keep away from it, the CHP mentioned.
