A 67-year-old lady died Sunday night after her Volkswagen Beetle collided with the again of a pick-up truck in Oakland, in keeping with California Freeway Patrol
The lady was driving on the I-580 Fruitvale Avenue westbound on-ramp when the crash occurred. California Freeway Patrol stated the truck that she rear-ended, a Chevrolet, was stopped attributable to heavy visitors.
A preliminary investigation confirmed that the girl, who died from blunt-force trauma, could have been touring at unsafe speeds when the accident occurred. It’s unclear if the motive force of the truck was injured.
As of September, there had been 22 visitors fatalities in Oakland this 12 months.
