CONCORD — An individual died Tuesday morning after a small aircraft crashed on metropolis streets close to Buchanan Discipline Airport, in accordance with authorities.

In a put up to social media simply after 11 a.m., the Contra Costa County Fireplace Safety District confirmed that crews had been responding to the crash and recognized the plane as a Van’s RV-6, which is a two-seat, single-engine aircraft. The crash scene was on the intersection of Diamond Boulevard and Harmony Avenue, a heavily-traveled space adjoining to the airport and Buchanan Fields Golf Course.
