WALNUT CREEK — A pedestrian was hospitalized Monday after being hit by a automotive that was popping out of a parking storage, officers mentioned.

The collision occurred about 2 p.m. close to the intersection of South Predominant Road and Botelho Drive and brought about police to close down South Predominant Road for about an hour.

The pedestrian glided by ambulance to John Muir Medical Heart with accidents that officers mentioned weren’t life-threatening.

In accordance with metropolis spokesperson Betsy Burkhart, police spoke to the driving force, who confirmed no indicators of impairment. Police didn’t arrest anybody.

Burkhart mentioned the driving force was turning out of the Macy’s parking storage at Broadway Plaza and hit the individual, who was within the crosswalk.
