
OAKLAND — A Piedmont Avenue financial institution department was robbed Tuesday morning, authorities mentioned.
The theft occurred about 11 a.m. Tuesday on the Citibank department, situated at 4101 Piedmont Ave.
Police mentioned a person confronted a teller, claimed to have a gun and demanded money. The person was given an undisclosed amount of money, left the financial institution and was final seen strolling westbound on forty first Avenue, police mentioned.
The robber was described to police as a Black man in his 40s, about 6 ft tall and weighing about 220 kilos. He had facial hair and was sporting blue denims and darkish trench coat, police mentioned.
