A San Jose man was killed in a car crash on Thursday morning in San Martin, the California Freeway Patrol stated.
The wreck occurred round 1:12 a.m. on the intersection of Monterey Freeway and Highland Avenue, after the driving force of a Ford F-150 ran a purple gentle and crashed right into a Kia Forte.
The Kia driver, a 48-year-old San Jose resident, was taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Middle and pronounced useless. His id has not but been launched.
The Ford driver, a 59-year-old San Jose man, suffered head trauma and was taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Middle for remedy, the CHP stated. Two passengers within the Ford — a 36-year-old man and a 45-year-old girl, each San Jose residents — suffered minor accidents.
The CHP is investigating whether or not medication or alcohol had been concerned.
