LAS VEGAS — A lawyer talking for the previous avenue gang chief charged with killing Tupac Shakur in 1996 mentioned Thursday he sees “apparent defenses” within the homicide case in Las Vegas.

“There’s no gun, there’s no automotive and there’s no witnesses from 27 years in the past,” lawyer Ross Goodman informed reporters after the briefest of courtroom hearings, at which he informed a Nevada choose he was near being employed to signify Duane “Keffe D” Davis.

Clark County District Decide Tierra Jones gave Davis and Goodman two weeks to achieve settlement, saying she needs to “get this case shifting.” She reset Davis’ arraignment for Nov. 2.
