
VALLEJO — A teenage passenger died and one other was injured in a single-car collision Friday morning, authorities mentioned.
Shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Friday, the Vallejo Police Division responded to a collision close to Columbus and Redwood parkways.
The driving force of a 2005 Toyota Tundra misplaced management of the car whereas touring on Columbus Parkway and struck the middle median, in response to police. The Toyota rolled over and stopped within the reverse lane of visitors.
Police mentioned the passenger was declared lifeless on the scene, and the driving force was taken to a neighborhood hospital to be handled for accidents police mentioned weren’t life-threatening.
Police didn’t determine both teenager as a result of each are below age 18 or say whether or not they’re male or feminine.
The driving force is cooperating with the investigation, and medicines or alcohol don’t seem like an element at the moment, in response to Vallejo PD’s Friday press launch.
That is the sixth deadly visitors collision within the metropolis of Vallejo in 2023.
